Required Qualifications
The position requires a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in:
1) Computer Science,
2) Educational Technology supported by computers, or any combination of Computer Engineering Technology,
3) Computer Information Administrator,
4) Computer Programming,
5) Digital Media/Multimedia Technology,
6) Internet Services Technology,
7) Office Systems/Business Education,
8) Computer Engineering,
9) Networking Administrator,
10) Education Supported by Computers, or Education Technology Supported by Computers. Courses in educational technology must focus on computer skill competencies such as programming, multimedia technologies and web development. Professional certification is required for certain courses.

Job Description
This is a tenured-track faculty position. Desire candidates with on-going professional development interests, love of teaching, and enthusiasm for campus and College committees and activities.
Preferred Qualifications
The successful candidate will:
1) have experience teaching at an accredited community or state college;
2) be able to teach classes in client-side web development;
3) be able to teach classes in server-side web development;
4) be able to teach scripting for the web using modern scripting languages such as JavaScript and PHP;
5) be able to teach web authoring;
6) be able to teach other classes related to Internet Services Technology;
7) be able to teach courses in Microsoft Office applications;
8) be team oriented and work collaboratively with colleagues; and
9) demonstrate a commitment to students through exceptional teaching and learning.

Pay Rate
A faculty member shall be assigned to the appropriate salary grade based on the College’s contract with the faculty union. The present entry levels are:

Master’s degree plus 30 graduate semester hours in the teaching field $46,514 and
Master’s degree plus 30 graduate semester hours in the teaching field $46,514 and
(Grade I)
