West Shore Community College seeks PART-TIME FACULTY for the Summer Semester for the Medical Assistant Program, with the possibility of continuing appointment for Fall and Winter semesters.  Courses will include lecture and skills development/assessment. Courses will be taught in classroom and lab settings, on campus. 

Job Duties

Specifically seeking faculty for the following courses:

• Summer semester (June-July) - Medical Assistant Practicum and Clinical
• Fall semester (August-December) - Medical Assistant Procedures I and Foundations of Medical Assisting
• Winter semester (January-May) - Medical Assistant Procedures II

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
- Associates in Nursing, Allied Health, or related health field
- Medical Assistant Experience, or experience supervising Medical Assistants
- Experience teaching adults

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified in Medical Assisting
