Job Description

Teach athletic training classes. Fulfill the instructor professional development requirements found in the Negotiated Agreement. Attend faculty meetings and participate in all in-service educational programs designed for professional development and commencement exercises. Develop, coordinate, and administer
a comprehensive sports medical program for intercollegiate sports, including injury prevention program, injury evaluations, injury management, injury treatment and rehabilitation and educational programs.
Provide athletic training services. Develop athletic training staff, including hiring and training. Supervision of assistant athletic trainers and student athletics trainers.


Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field.
2 years of experience in athletic training in an educational setting.
The Board of Certification, Inc., Certified Athletic Trainer. First Aid/CPR certification. Licensure with
the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts.

Travel: 5%
