Management/Marketing/Entrepreneurship - Tenure Track Faculty
Job Description
Sinclair seeks to attract an academically and culturally diverse faculty that carries out the mission of the college with dedication, innovation and a commitment to the success of each student. Sinclair invites applications for a Tenure Track Faculty position in the Management, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship program.
Principal Accountabilities
- The primary responsibilities of a Full-Time Visiting Faculty position are to teach a minimum of 15 credit hours per semester
- Work closely with the department chair and the administrative assistant to implement the policies of the department and college;
- Teach, advise and/or supervise students
- Assist in enhancing existing curriculum, or in developing new courses
- Attend and/or host program meetings
- Engage in college or service related activities consistent with the position and with the mission of Sinclair
Requirements
- A minimum of a Master’s degree in management, business, marketing, or related field required. Or a Master’s degree with at least 18 semester credit hours of graduate coursework in the content area is required
- Evidence of successful prior teaching experience is preferred
- A demonstrated commitment to improving student learning through innovative strategies shown to help students succeed at the course and program level
- Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills with the capacity to work successfully in a culturally diverse college community
- Must possess demonstrated skills in using modern educational technology, including multimedia-based instruction
- Instructors must be available to teach in a classroom environment prior to teaching online
