East Arkansas Community College is currently accepting applications for the position of

Position Responsibilities and Requirements:
1. Meet all the job responsibilities for instructor as outlined in the EACC Employee
Handbook and the Nursing Faculty handbook.
2. Adhere to the CEU requirements for nurse licensure.
3. Maintain CPR Certification
4. Lecture concepts of the curriculum as decided by the chairperson after
discussion of strengths.
5. Provide direct supervision of students in the campus laboratory, simulation lab
and clinical settings
6. Participate in maintaining campus laboratory inventory
7. Participate in written evaluations of students in both theory through examinations
and assignments, and in practice through written assignments and clinical
evaluations.
8. Assist in administering the philosophy, objectives, and guidelines of the program
as outlined in the PN program.
9. Serve as a member of the Admissions Committee for the PN program.
10.Participate in the two meetings of the advisory committee for the PN program.
11. Assist students with meetings/responsibilities of ALPNA.
12.Attend all required faculty meetings.
13.Complete duties as outlined in the Nursing Faculty Orientation Handbook.
14.Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
An Associate degree with RN credentials required. At least 1 year of experience in nursing required.
