The Physical Therapist Assistant Program Part-Time Instructor provides PTA education in all aspects of academic, laboratory and skills teaching. Physical Therapist Assistant Part-Time Instructor holds a hourly position. This individual must maintain current knowledge of the profession and Physical Therapist Assistant discipline. This individual cooperates with the program director in periodic review and revision of course materials, objective, and outcomes for this program. The Physical Therapist Assistant must currently hold a PT or PTA license in good standing with the state of Texas.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum:
• Licensed as a PT/PTA with three years recent field experience.
Preferred:
• B.S. or higher for PT and a minimum of AAS in PTA and additional education in areas of Education, or Business discipline.
• Experience as a CI is a plus.
