This aligned position, shared between Anoka-Ramsey Community College and Anoka Technical College, exists to manage, plan, implement, monitor security and evaluate the public health/safety programs of the two colleges located on three campuses. The Public Health and Safety Coordinator is responsible for health, safety, community health, infectious diseases, pandemic/endemic management & mitigation, and emergency response. This position is expected to assist with Public Safety related projects, activities, and reports to ensure the colleges provide a safe and healthy space for employees, students, and visitors. This position will also assist with coordinating and administering pandemic tests for students/employees, monitors email correspondence, attend training/meetings with Minnesota Dept of Health and Anoka/Isanti County Public Health officials.

 

This position has responsibilities at all 3 campuses and the home campus will be the Rapids campus. This position is primarily located on campus but there is possibility of remote work as determined by business needs.
