Adult Education, Part-time Faculty, Rantoul Location
Seeking Part-time Faculty to teach GED classes at a Rantoul site. Part-time Faculty teach part-time, advise and mentor students. Hiring needs are dependent on student enrollment and course schedules.

- Copy of official transcript from the institution where you received your highest degree. If hired, certified official transcript is required.
Essential Job Functions:
- Teach level appropriate reading, writing, math, and technology to adults
- Ensure that instruction is of adequate rigor to support student ability to advance
- Create and develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and individual learning plans aligned to appropriate Illinois Content Standards
- Design instructional activities, select materials, and organize small group, whole group, or independent instruction
- Establish instructional routine and classroom management policies.
- Integrate technology and digital literacy into instruction
- Monitor and assess student progress on a regular basis
- Collect, record and report student information required for grant reporting
- Complete all required student documentation forms.
- Complete annual professional development requirements set forth by the Illinois Community College Board (ICCB)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in education or related field.
- Excellent communication skills and have the ability to work with diverse populations.
- Experience working with adult learners.
- Experience managing multiple, interfacing systems is preferred.
