Pay Grade/Pay Range: 57.57, $61,034- $76,292 *Actual pay depends on qualifications

Position Summary: The Program Manager will be responsible for developing and conducting program training and overseeing the implementation of accreditation standards to ensure that the College Now program adheres to National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnership (NACEP) Guidelines and meets Higher Learning Commission faculty requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in education, communications, business, and five years of successful K-12 or higher education experience that includes program development, project management, curriculum development, assessment, and/or administrative responsibilities, or other related fields
  • Experience with developing and conducting presentations and/or training to a variety of audiences
  • Demonstrated understanding of postsecondary academic and student services functions
  • Proven ability to effectively manage daily tasks while facilitating partnerships and communication with multiple stakeholder groups
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and decision-making skills
  • Proven ability to lead, manage, and collaborate with a variety of constituent groups
  • High level of technology proficiency, including utilization of student information systems such as Banner, Learning Management systems and Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated understanding of National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP) & Higher Learning Commission (HLC) requirements
  • Demonstrated understanding of concurrent enrollment courses/partnerships. Experience with successfully creating and administering departmental budgets

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and conduct training sessions each semester for the new class of College Now instructors: Create training modules that can be utilized in-person or via an online format (includes developing materials for Canvas, JCCC website; develop and conduct on-going training sessions for the 26 JCCC Faculty Liaisons; design a New Instructor Orientation (in collaboration with the faculty liaisons) for high school faculty each semester; present College Now information to internal and external stakeholders; coordinate with school districts and JCCC video services personnel to develop training videos.
  • Manage the faculty credentialing compliance plan process to ensure that high school teachers are making annual progress and meeting JCCC and Higher Learning Commission faculty requirements; coordinate with the JCCC office of Assessment, Evaluation, and Institutional Outcomes to assist faculty liaisons in developing effective classroom assessments and statements of equivalency that meet NACEP accreditation guidelines; provide JCCC Faculty liaison guidance and serve as the departmental resource for all facets of NACEP accreditation standards and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with JCCC’s Institutional Research & Institutional Effectiveness Office to design and conduct a research study to evaluate program performance, share findings, and make recommendations to assist in developing future program goals; establish an advisory board and lead quarterly meetings to share program updates and determine concerns and needs of program stakeholders.
  • Provide oversight for 29 JCCC Faculty Liaisons regarding duties related to NACEP requirements in the College Now program; serve as the primary program lead in the absence of the Program Director, Concurrent Enrollment; perform supervisory duties in accordance with JCCC policy and expectations, which may include training, supervising, evaluating, and performing duties in an employee’s absence.
