Power Line Instructor Assistant
Department: Utility Tech
Reports to: Power Line Faculty
Job Classification: Non-exempt (Hourly), Part Time, Not Benefit Eligible
Location: Marshalltown, IA
Rate of Pay: $30.00 per hour
Summary: The purpose of this position is to assist the Power Line Faculty with student training. The length of employment is routinely the academic year (fall and spring terms).
Job Duties:
- Supervise students in the lab.
- Supervise in the use of hand tools, climbing gear, digger derrick, basket truck, trencher and backhoe.
- Will evaluate student skills and work ethic and present findings to Power Line Instructor.
- Inventory Control
Education and Experience: HS Diploma or equivalent.
