Enrollment Advisor - Courseview Campus in Mason, Ohio

 

Full Job Description

 

This position exists to plan and execute enrollment strategy at the Mason campus. The Enrollment Advisor will work directly with prospective students of all types (traditional, adult, etc.), building the enrollment funnel and enrollment yield, while serving the best interests of the students.

This position is located at our Courseview campus in Mason, OH.

The minimum salary for this position is $54,317 per year.

Principal Accountabilities
  • Meet with and case-manage prospective students virtually and face-to-face to advise them in career exploration, academic program selection, and enrollment (including application, financial aid, course registration, etc.)
  • Create and maintain records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.
  • Maintain and analyze CRM data, including developing new reports for information relevant to the Mason campus.
  • Meet with local high school administrators to develop mutually beneficial strategies to promote Sinclair and other higher education opportunities to their students.
  • Plan and execute events such as open houses, college fairs, transfer fairs, etc.
  • Represent Sinclair at enrollment-related off-campus events and meetings.
  • Identify new strategies and markets to increase enrollment at the Mason campus.

Requirements
  • A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required; Masters degree in areas such as counseling, student personnel/student affairs, or communication preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in admissions, sales, recruiting, counseling, or related field required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in event planning preferred.
  • Excellent presentation skills, verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated evidence of excellent customer service skills required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the student enrollment process and the academic career; and social needs of students in higher education preferred.
  • Experience using technology to support students, create reports, and track student progress preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of campus resources, occupational/career trends, college policies, and academic programs.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical work practices required.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and ability to work evenings and weekends required.
