Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for developing and implementing the new Biotechnology and Life Science courses. They will work with NCMI to create the new NCMI/Biowork track, develop coursework, and work with all stakeholders to properly prepare the new instructional classroom and lab spaces. As an active member of the WCE BLS Team, the Lead Instructor will guide outreach campaigns and recruitment activities. The Lead Instructor will also manage adjunct instructors to ensure all class sections are adequately covered. Once operational, the Lead Instructor will maintain the integrity and competitiveness of the program

Required Education/Experience:

Associates degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Industrial Systems, Engineering or any related field. Experience in Pharmaceuticals, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Industrial Technologies, or related field.

Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Industrial Systems, Engineering or any related field. One-three years of biotechnical or pharmaceutical industry experience. Experience teaching is preferred.
