Lake Tahoe Community College (LTCC) is seeking adjunct librarians to provide reference assistance in the Library and Learning Services department.

Adjunct Instructors are categorized as part-time, contracted faculty teaching assigned courses on a quarter or annual basis. Part-time faculty positions do not exceed 67% of a full-time faculty members load.

Description

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:
Provide one-on-one reference assistance to students and other patrons and develop and provide in-class training for students and faculty around Library and Learning Services resources and information literacy.

Minimum Qualification

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Requirements: All faculty must meet state-adopted minimum qualifications or the locally established equivalencies. Please review minimum qualifications handbook produced by the California Community Colleges Chancellors Office.

Library Science
  • Masters in library science, library and information science,
  • OR the equivalent
