Full Job Description

Under the direction of the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Equitable Student Learning, Experience, and Impact, the ESLEI Operations manager (Dean) will manage and coordinate the integrated operational infrastructure of the ESS division. ESLEI is a large, multi-faceted unit of the California Community College Chancellors Office (CCCCO). The Dean will also participate in the development of, and coordinate the implementation of, division policies, systems, and procedures to increase division capacity and improve performance that lead to expanded and effective practices toward achieving division goals. The Dean will desighn, coach and train staff in division functions and processes, and coordinate division-wide professional development. This is a supervisory role that will manage staff in a remote work setting.

Desirable Qualifications

In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate:

Bachelors Degree or higher in Business Administration, Education Administration, Public Administration, Operations Management, or related field

Three or more years project or operations management experience

Two or more years supervisory experience

Experience presenting to an audience in a remote or in-person setting

Experience with CA state progressive disciple process and holding employees accountable
