Job Summary

Salt Lake Community College is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented project manager to assist in the implementation of our enrollment strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and tracking various aspects of the enrollment strategy implementation, including the extent of execution, ongoing monitoring, and evaluation. This part-time position will report to and work directly with the Chair of the SLCC Enrollment Council, the Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness to track the implementation of the enrollment strategy.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for the enrollment strategy implementation.
  • Coordinate with various departments across the College to ensure that all aspects of the enrollment strategy are aligned with the College’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Assess and describe project risks and issues and assist in developing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Monitor and report progress on the enrollment strategy implementation to the Enrollment Council.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree 

Trade-offs considered one-to-one in both experience and education requirement. 
Part-time experience may be substituted on a prorated basis. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as project management, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in project management, preferably in higher education or enrollment management.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, and Trello.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of enrollment management principles and best practices is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, and ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the College.
  • Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic background of community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities.
