Job Description:

The Coordinator, State Aid assists the Director with coordinating the district-wide comprehensive delivery of federal, state, institutional, and other student aid.The Coordinator supervises departmental staff and operations; plans, organizes and coordinates all district-wide federal, state, and local financial aid; prepares and submits required institutional applications for federal, state, and local financial aid, and prepares reports for each; establishes annual need-based aid packaging parameters; directs and coordinates the student assistance application and counseling process; authorizes fund disbursements to eligible students for state aid programs; and analyses and interprets federal and state status and regulations affecting student financial aid and implements them as required. This position is responsible for maintaining information regarding Workday as it pertains to state aid information. Reports to Director, Financial Aid.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelors degree and three years of progressively responsible related work and supervisory experience. Successful results of a criminal background check are required.

Pursuant to College policy, it is an employment eligibility requirement for an applicant to meet the requirements of 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations. Any person failing to meet the requirements of the statute will be deemed not qualified to hold employment in this position. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of employment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from employment.

SALARY RANGE: $35,000.00 - $42,500.00
