Enrollment ServicesSpecific Position Duties
- Supervise and direct office personnel; – Prepare and monitor the Testing Center’s budget; – Develop goals and strategic plans for the Testing Center; – Develop and maintain procedures for the Testing Center; – Provide academic counseling; – Direct and supervise the administration of the GED (General Educational Development Testing) program including test security; – Direct the administration of the College’s placement testing program (TSI); – Coordinate the professional certification and other national/regional testing programs offered by the College; – Provide appropriate student and staff referrals; – Assist in test interpretations; – Serve as a consultant on testing issues to the Student Services, Design for Completion and other components of the College; – Coordinate and compile research gained in collaboration with the IE Department through the administration of tests; – Promote effective relationships with community agencies; – Prepare and maintain required records and reports of all test conducted by the testing center; – Participate in proctoring of end-of-course exams and other College projects as needed; – Participate in College student recruitment and retention efforts, including dual credit initiatives; – Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree; – Applicants must be able to meet state and national testing companies’ certification; – Additional consideration will be given to those who have actual work and supervisory experience in a community college setting.
