Alexandria College is seeking adjunct instructors to facilitate in-person Summer SKILLS training sessions during the Summer Semester.

Job Description
Subjects to be led:
  • Report Writing
  • Interview and Interrogation
  • Courtroom Testimony
  • Traffic Enforcement
  • Animal Response
  • Drug and Alcohol Investigations (DWI/DRE)
  • Juvenile Response
  • Use of Force
  • In-progress Crimes
  • Active Shooter Response
  • Community Policing
  • Crime Scene Investigation

Required Qualifications
  • Associates Degree in Law Enforcement or Criminal Justice
  • Minimum of five years of experience as a Peace Officer
  • Availability needed for class sessions spanning from May to July

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching Law Enforcement recruits/students
  • Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice or law enforcement-related field from a regionally accredited college
  • Five years of patrol along with Investigative experience
  • MN Warrant writing framework
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with diverse populations of Minnesota

Other Requirements
Must be able to attend or complete the face-to-face or upcoming online Adjunct Instructor Development Course.
