Columbia College (www.ccdc.edu) is now looking for a part-time instructor in our Accounting/Business Administration program. The first class starts on October 30, 2023.

[PERIOD]

• Columbia College is a ten-week session-based school. The new session starts on October 30, 2023.

[COURSE SCHEDULE & DESCRIPTION]

• Each course: 4 hours per day for ten (10) weeks, Total of 40 hours per course
• BUA103 Business Mathematics: Thursday, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm (In-person class) The purpose of this course is to provide students with basic math skills useful in solving issues and situations in business. Student will learn the topics like decimals, percentages, interest, trade, bank and cash discounts, payroll, time value of money, and business loans.
• BUA201 Managerial Financial Accounting: Thursday 1:30 pm - 5:30 pm (in-person class) This course expands the students knowledge of preparing balance sheets and financial statements. The student will prepare general ledger entries, prepare payroll, and discuss budget control.

[RESPONSIBILITY]

• Provide instruction for students teaching a variety of knowledge and skills
• Responsible for daily lesson plan and supplementary material development associated with the overall program and course(s) taught
• Develop and revise curriculum and syllabus if it's necessary
• Monitor and report student progress including, but not limited to accurate and timely grading and attendance record keeping
• Adhere to and support the goals and mission of the program and more
• Create Mid-term, final exam and grade them

[QUALIFICATION]

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• One (1) year or more teaching experience preferred.

Job Types: Contract, Part-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
