This position will supervise and coordinate all areas of Health Occupations, which includes the programs for Associate Degree Nursing (ADN), Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN), Medical Records Coding, Surgical Technology, Emergency Medical Services, Enhanced Nurse Aid, and Radiology Technology.

Applicant must have a Master's and Bachelors degree in a health occupations field required. Doctorate preferred. Supervisory experience. Professional certification in Texas. Demonstrate competency in education and administration of health occupations programs. Have clinical experiences necessary to function effectively and safely in areas of instruction. Ability to assist/guide coordinators in updating the program to reflect current trends. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with staff, faculty, administration, and the community. Demonstrated organizational skills. Demonstrated supervisory skills.

This position covers health insurance at 100% for employee. Additional optional coverages include dental, vision, AD&D, life insurance, and long- and short-term disability. Other benefits include retirement under the Teacher Retirement System of Texas or Optional Retirement Program, accrued sick leave, vacation, paid holidays, and an employee reimbursement/dependent scholarship program. Health benefits require a 60-day employment period.
