Job Description:

Responsible for coordinating all aspects of current and new marine trades programs. Coordinating with faculty and department staff on execution and tracking Marine Engine Technology and other industry specific training. Work with Assistant Dean to develop new programs, training curricula and oversight of the general effectiveness of course organization, administration, and outcomes assessment. Supporting the development and implementation of Marine Technology programs and expansion of Marine/Maritime/coastal Workforce.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science and Technical Diploma in Marine Technology or closely related field from a regionally accredited school and a minimum of 3 years of work experience in a position related to Marine/Maritime Trades.
  • Experience in all aspects of the field such as composites, electrical systems harbor or marina management including Engines and outboards is highly desirable.

Salary rate: Full time MCCC Professional Senior Special Project Coordinator position (Grade 5) with Full Time benefits Salary range will be $63,288 - $64,292. This is grant funded until Aug 31, 2025.

The position will be remote and on site, on campus and/or boat yard: schedule TBD upon hire
