St. Charles Community College is located just west of St. Louis, in the heart of growing St. Charles County. At St. Charles Community College, we have a passion for student success. We invite qualified candidates to apply for our full-time Math Faculty position for Fall 2024. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, student learning, assessment, and the use of technology in the delivery of instruction. They will be responsible for assessing student performance in coordination with other members of the Math department to evaluate effectiveness of teaching and student learning and will have demonstrated successful outcomes with diverse student populations. The teaching load is 15 credit hours per semester. Responsibilities include teaching primarily Pre-Algebra, Beginning Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, and Applied Math, and sections of Contemporary Math as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

A minimum of a Master's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field with at least 18 credit hours in graduate-level mathematics coursework is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred candidates will have teaching experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong desire to nurture students through the transition from high school to college. Preferred candidates will embrace the use of technology in teaching and will maintain the highest possible standards in classroom instruction, management, and assessment.

Salaries: Instructor $58,315; Assistant Professor $64,238; Associate Professor $70,620 - Rank will be assessed at the time of hire based on years of experience and education based on pre-determined criteria.
