Job Summary
Will teach a variety of day, evening, hybrid, or online classes in the mathematics curriculum ranging from Developmental Mathematics up through Calculus III. The instructor may teach classes at off-site locations as needed. The instructor will provide academic advising to students and will perform other departmental and/or college-wide duties as needed.
Hiring Range – Minimum to Midpoint ($5,246- 6,560/monthly) 9-month contract

Minimum Qualifications
A Masters Degree in Mathematics or a masters degree and at least 18 graduate semester hours in a combination of courses from Mathematics or related fields. Transcripts should be from an accredited college or university.
Note: A Masters Degree in Mathematics Education is not the same as a Masters in Mathematics. Master Degrees in Mathematics Education will be required to have a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Mathematics or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collegially with faculty, staff and students.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of and commitment to teaching strategies and methods which enhance student success.
- Prior teaching experience at the community college level is strongly preferred.
- Experience teaching high-school students.
- Use of current technology in mathematics instruction and experience teaching online classes.
Special Instructions
