Job Description


Responsibilities:


SWC is accepting applications to teach Communication Studies year-round. Applicants will be kept in the pool for a period of one year, and contacted for interviews on an as-needed basis.

Minimum Qualifications (Faculty and Academic Administrator Positions Only)


Masters in Speech, Speech Broadcasting, Telecommunications, Rhetoric, Communication, Communication Studies, Speech Communication, or Organizational Communication OR Bachelors in any of the above AND Masters in Drama/Theater Arts, Mass Communication, or English OR the equivalent.

Salary:


$66.77 to $73.23 per lecture hour AND $53.43 to $58.60 per lab hour

Finalized Salary Placement is based on units beyond a bachelors degree with a masters degree conferred.

Successful candidate may be assigned to any of the campus sites (Chula Vista, National City, Otay Mesa, San Ysidro, and/or local correctional facilities may be part of assignment).

Selection Procedure:
