12 Month Contract Full-time Staff Position
RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary responsibilities of the EMS Program Director are to teach and develop
curricula for up to 30 credit hours of coursework per year and oversee the program and
classes. The Director is responsible for the safety, security, and operation of the EMS
instructional area and equipment and reporting requirements within state departments
and other licensing entities.
QUALIFICATIONS: Required Knowledge and Skills:
Masters degree with 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline or subfield and/or
Valid/current industry-recognized credential for the career/technical field and/or
Industry experience with a minimum 2 years work in the career/technical field.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in the emergency medical services industry.
Experience in secondary and post-secondary education.
Advising students and scheduling courses.
Excel and CTE initiatives.
Supervisory experience.
Certification and/or training applicable to job requirements.
LOCATION: Hybrid. Travel to businesses and high schools within the state of Kansas will be
required based on project needs, with scheduled days on the Iola campus
determined in collaboration with the Dean for CTE & Industry Partnerships.
SALARY: $55,000-$65,000. An excellent benefits package is available.
