What You'll Do

You will join the Litigation & Competition Law Group as Principal Corporate Counsel.

In this role, you will:

• Provide strategic antitrust advice and counsel on all aspects of antitrust law
• Assist in managing responses to agency requests and discovery in litigation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal Sales Team and the M&A Legal and Corporate Development teams
• Support compliance efforts, including by creating and delivering training and crafting compliance tools for Cisco's global legal and business teams
• Monitor and advise regarding legal developments in the field of antitrust and competition law

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications for this role:

• Bar admission in any jurisdiction with good standing, with a minimum of 5+ years at a law firm, in-house, or with a government agency
• Knowledge of US antitrust law and interest in learning more
• The ability to synthesize complex issues, think strategically and give practical advice
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an affinity for working collaboratively and positively with colleagues across functions
• Strong organizational skills, and proven ability to optimally handle a fluid working environment, including changes in priorities, deadlines, and workload
• Experience with M&A transactions and/or antitrust expertise in jurisdictions outside the US is a plus, as is experience in the technology industry.
