Summary
Provide support in the maintenance of a robust and sustainable parts inventory program in a manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Managereceipt of incoming parts including entering into the BMRAM (Blue Mountain Regulatory
  • Asset Manager) CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) inventory, bar coding and shelving.
  • Pull parts requested by mechanics for equipment repairs, update BMRAM inventory and anticipate part needs during shutdowns for Preventive Maintenance
  • Keepa neat, clean and organized parts inventory warehouse space.
  • Ensuresecurity and accountability of inventory through transactions for receiving and using parts and associated documentation.
  • Maintainconsumable goods inventory.
  • Utilizecomputers and computer capabilities to electronically receive and inventory incoming parts and update inventories when parts are manually pulled.
  • Unpack,inspect, label, and shelve incoming parts.
  • Maintainproper critical spare parts inventory levels to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Collectand organize technical data from equipment manufacturers, equipment users, and engineering personnel as it relates to parts procurement and inventory.
  • Serveas back up for ordering of spare parts using the Pacira Procurement system.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Interaction
Work directly with the Facilities, Calibration and Automation teams to ensure required parts are available and locatable in the inventory system.
Education and Experience
  • HighSchool graduate, or GED equivalent certificate required
  • Partsmanagement or inventory experience required. Knowledge of parts for plant utilities, Automation and calibration highly desired.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • High level of attention to detail to ensure mistake-free accurate and efficient entry of complex part numbers and descriptions into the computerized inventory system
  • Exceptional and consistent organizational skills
  • Excellent English communication skills (oral and written)
  • Experience working with electronic requisition systems is a plus
  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter and can work productively when unsupervised
  • Ability to work while under pressure. This requires remaining calm in the face of parts emergencies to source and expedite critical parts overnight.
  • Able to work off hours and weekends in support of Facilities shutdowns or mission critical repairs
  • Knowledge of cGMP Quality systems and requirements as they relate to Facility/Engineering operations

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, move between spaces, reach with hands and arms, and stoop. Close vision and the need to focus on computer screen, use of hands, fingers, and wrist to type on keyboard and manipulate mouse. Will need to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds and work from a ladder up to 6 feet high.Will need to operate a pallet stacker and forklift.

Typical office setting or cubicle but may be near a mechanical space or maintenance shop, noise level is moderate with consistent printer, telephone ringing, conversation, and occasional mechanical noise.

The base pay range for this role in California is $21.15
per hour to $29.09 per hour. This role is classified as non-exempt and eligible for over-time.
The range is what we reasonably expect to pay for this role. The range considers a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: geographic markets, business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and certifications.
