Scope of Position
Responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing assessment center functions.
Key Measurable Expectations
- Coordinate computerized placement testing program at on-campus and off-campus locations;
- Assist with New Student Orientation events and processes on campus;
- Work directly with faculty to schedule instructional make-up exams;
- Proctor third party exams;
- Conduct assorted pre-admission and admission tests for Allied Health programs;
- Maintain all certification requirements/continuing education for the administration of tests including the ACT test, GED test, and Pearson Vue tests;
- Administer other tests such as Illinois Nurse Assistant exam, GED exam, Illinois and Federal constitution, Pearson Vue SAT, ACT, and any other exams;
- Coordinate the CLEP and DSST program on campus, including the administration of computerized tests, the evaluation of test scores, and faculty consultations to revise course credit acceptance policies;
- Organize the ACT and SAT preparation workshop;
- Provide interpretation of various test scores to faculty and staff;
- Enter test scores into the computer system;
- Learn new accommodations software to assist and instruct students as needed;
- Assist with various Enrollment Center functions such as scheduling advising appointments, processing applications, entering new student survey data, participating in recruitment activities, providing relevant statistics related to enrollment trends, and other enrollment services functions;
- Assist with planning the annual Assessment Center budget;
- Oversee various testing activities dealing with SCANTRON technology;
- Provide special services, including reading aloud to students with special learning needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in a field related to assessment and/or education
- Two years related experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree with emphasis on assessment and/or education

Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:30 , Some Weekends , Other (specify) - Occasional Saturdays and evenings depending on testing schedules
