We are looking for new team members to join our growing Digital Delivery team based in San Diego, California.We passionately believe that digital is a real enabler to more productive delivery of the built environment, our focus therefore lies in the realisation of this goal. You will work closely with our project teams and clients to support their digital journeys by developing plans and strategies, providing exemplary digital delivery solutions, and leading implementation teams to deliver measurable benefits.

Job Description:

  • Day to day you will lead the delivery of projects, working directly with our clients to identify opportunities and issues and help to manage concurrent priorities acrossthe teams.You will need to establish project strategies and governance of digital data and informationon behalf of authors, custodians and owners to enable our projects and clients to meet theirvarious business requirements.
  • Projects may vary from major design and build commissions to a portfolio of smaller advisory projects. As part of your responsibilities' you will:
  • Assess the current status of digital delivery, the skills of the people working on these projects and drive improved ways of working.
  • Shape digital project delivery using both our internal and emerging tools and strategies to drive continuous improvements.
  • Regularly interface with our Clients as you seek to obtain a deep understanding of their problems and subsequently develop improved solutions to their challenges.
  • Work alongside the project management teams providing insights from project information and supporting the ongoing strategic development of project delivery through to asset management.
  • You will also support the development and delivery of our internal digital delivery strategy with a strong focus on building high performing teams, nurturing talent and strengthening our offering to Clients. This will include working alongside the senior management team and supporting our business development activities through the delivery of presentations and proposals to Clients.

  • Work closely with existing and new projects to elicit information requirements, develop processes and work directly with clients.
  • Develop methods to quantifiably measure improvements as a consequence of digital delivery embedment
  • Report to senior leads and work closely with other digital consultants and account leaders
  • Required to build a strong and open network across the account to break down silos and improve knowledge sharing
  • You will have a strong track record defining and implementing digital delivery solutions on infrastructure projects and exposure to a variety of project delivery models.


Candidate Specification:

  • You're an open-minded and cooperative team player with experience in guiding and developing team members to reach their potential. With a background in engineering, digital delivery or even app development, you enjoy taking an active involvement in relevant industry forums and have experience working within the built environment or delivering digital strategies/ digital transformation. You enjoy proactively influencing change and strive to deliver greater value and more efficiency to clients. Additionally, with an analytical mindset, you are comfortable suggesting new ways of working within an evolving environment.
  • You will be also able to demonstrate the following:
  • A Degree or Masters (BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng, or equivalent) in a relevant subject
  • Chartered with a professional institution
  • Knowledge of infrastructure projects
  • Practical and technical knowledge of a range of software platforms associated with complex project delivery.

Salary Range:$130,000-140,00 USD

This is a Mott MacDonald Bentley role, employed by Mott MacDonald.
Mott MacDonald Bentley is a joint venture business, established in 1999 between civil engineering contractor JN Bentley and global management consultancy, Mott MacDonald.

Mott MacDonald Bentley offers fully integrated design and build services to its clients, combining the contracting expertise of JN Bentley and the design specialisms of Mott MacDonald.

This role is employed by Mott MacDonald but will involve working across the joint venture business, both with Mott MacDonald and JN Bentley colleagues.
