POSITION SUMMARY: The basic purpose or function of this position to disassemble and repair gas turbine engines in a safe and compliant manner. This position is also referred to as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The duties and responsibilities regularly performed for this position are:

  • Mentor, train, and coach employees on all aspects of the engine module.
  • Disassemble, repair and replace worn, damaged or defective components using hand tools, gauges and testing equipment.
  • Applies technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufactures' manuals.
  • Document work on records, reports, and forms in accordance with company protocols.
  • Understands, accepts, and supports the need for business change and helps others with transitions.
  • Openly communicates with others respectfully and through multiple channels.
  • Perform Lean, Standard Work, and Continuous Process Improvements.
  • Willing and able to work overtime as required.
  • Participate in FAA Anti-Drug and Alcohol Program

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

Must have 3-5 years' experience with gas turbine engines.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A
