About the role:

Zego is a high-growth property technology company that has an exciting opportunity for Operations Analysts on our Billing Operations Team. We seek Zegonauts who are driven and inspired by the potential for rapid, turbo-charged career growth through high performance. Working closely with other departments, you will help provide an exceptional client experience through analytical excellence and strong attention to detail. In addition to showcasing your critical thinking skills, as you gain experience and advance your career at Zego, you will increasingly work directly with clients to help drive their success.

What you'll do here: (Job functions)

  • Utilize our CASA utility billing and expense technology platform to produce on-time and accurate resident bills on behalf of our clients
  • Review and analyze resident bills and collaborate with our clients to finalize and process monthly utility bills for their residents (some data entry required depending on client bill formats, types)
  • Review variance reports, datasets, and research explanations to ensure accuracy and consistency of billing practices and results
  • Collaborate across the Billing Operations Team to ensure properties are moved efficiently through the billing process
  • Partner with your clients to obtain billing approval as quickly as possible so statements can be released to residents in a timely fashion
  • Obtain expert knowledge of our CASA software platform, a great skill for potential future roles within Zego

About you: (Qualifications)

  • Desire to work in a fast-paced technology company with significant growth potential for high performance
  • Ability to learn and grow extremely rapidly with expectation of ability to be promoted (excel in current role) within 12 months
  • College degree preferred but not required (with no-post college work experience required) or equivalent work experience
  • Client-facing customer service experience a plus
  • Passion for providing a great client experience
  • Strong attention to detail; an eye for spotting potential issues before they become issues
  • Analytical approach to problem solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable learning new software and technology platforms
  • Ability and desire to consult with client on a regular basis
  • Availability to work overtime as needed

Within One Month, You'll:

  • Attend New Hire Training
  • Complete Bootcamp and become a Zego Certified Operations Analyst
  • Learn the Operations Process
  • Gain exposure to Zego billing platform, and learn the Zego partner landscape
  • Be responsible for your own beginner level Portfolio
  • Get to know your team

Within Three Months, You'll:

  • Be responsible for your own intermediate level Portfolio
  • Learn critical organizational and time management skills
  • Learn how other department impact the Billing Process
  • Receive personalized coaching to help you reach your KPI goals

Within Six Months, You'll:

  • Understand how Operations impacts other departments and Zego business goals
  • Have the opportunity to gain and develop skills needed to advance in your career
  • Partner with Support and Success teams to improve the client experience
  • Improve your customer service skills through escalated client contact

Within Twelve Months, You'll:

  • Have an understanding of the complex regulatory landscape of third party utility billing
  • Develop skills to confidently resolve escalated billing issues
  • Begin training and developing Senior Level skills

The US hourly rate for this full-time position is $20.00 + Benefits. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training
