Description

Reporting directly to the Accommodation and Test Centers Manager, this position is responsible for the daily operation of the campus accommodation service and testing center. The position serves as a direct contact with the students, other departments, and faculty across the College to provide information on available resources, programs, and testing and accommodation services. Individuals in this exempt position are expected to generally be available during the normal business hours of the college, and will occasionally be asked to work non-traditional hours, including holidays and weekends, as needed.

Typical Duties


 

  • Coordinate and supervise a variety of assessments and test batteries, utilizing prescribed disability accommodations as directed, including, but not limited to academic placement testing, online midterm and final exams, pre/post-test procedures, make-up exams, outsourced testing, and career interest test batteries.
  • Ensure test security standards and the integrity of the testing process.
  • Maintain specialized computer software and inventory of test materials to support testing program functions.
  • May direct, coordinate and train student workers, test proctors, or other employees.
  • Support students with inquiries regarding accommodation services, including the facilitation of interactive process with students for the purpose of completing the disability service intake process.
  • Support required disability awareness activities and assist in the coordination of programs to promote the observation of guidelines, including conducting training seminars.
  • Provides on campus support for use of auxiliary aids and services for students and faculty.
  • Coordinates the daily processes, activities, and operations of the campus Accommodation and Testing Center. Including accommodation intakes, accommodation testing, placement, proctored, and revenue testing . May be required to travel to other campus location to oversee another campus location on temporary basis.
  • Adhere to college, federal and state administrative procedures, guidelines, initiatives and directives to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations affecting college operations.
  • Handles highly sensitive information and confidential records and materials in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Perform other tasks of a similar nature or level as assigned .

 

Qualifications

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1 year experience in Higher Education or
  • Any combination of training and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
