Summary of Job Duties:

General Responsibilities:

• Development of course materials, assignments and assessment of
student learning outcomes within the structure of the courses taught
• Management of accurate student records and timely submission of syllabi,
roster certifications, grades and assessment reports
• Commitment to follow institutional and department policies regarding all
course and college procedures
• Ability to establish and maintain positive, collaborative working
relationships with students, colleagues and staff, including timely
communications
• Ability and willingness to use contemporary educational techniques and
technologies
• Participation in non-instructional activities, such as professional
development activities, student advising, committee work at various level
meetings as required by the college. Participation in school and
department meetings, as well as assigned trainings.
• Ability to perform all other duties as assigned associated with a full-time
visiting instructor position
