Position Classification: Full-Time Administration

Minimum Position Qualifications:

 

    • Education - Master's Degree in a quantitative discipline or related field; Doctorate is preferred.

 

    • Experience - Five (5) years experience in higher education administration, institutional research, data analysis, assessment, and strategic planning; Supervisory experience preferred.

 

  • Skills - Ability to provide accurate and relevant information to support departmental and institutional strategic planning and assessment; ability to design and conduct research projects that foster continuous improvement; ability to collaborate with multiple professional disciplines; proficient in data analytics and data visualization; demonstrate technical proficiency including the construction, organization, and management of large databases, data extraction, and analyses using statistical software and data reporting platforms; demonstrates verbal, written, and presentation skills.

 

Position Responsibilities:

 

In collaboration with the President's Office and the President's Leadership Team, will oversee the College's strategic planning process; provide leadership to college planning, decision making, operational effectiveness, and policy formation; provide analysis and interpretation of institutional data for evidence-based, strategic decision-making and long-range planning; collects, extracts, and assembles information from a variety of sources into coherent and easily navigable reports and data repositories and systems; conducts data analyses and creates reports that clearly summarize data from several sources; communicates actionable institutional data to administrators and the college community not limited to key institutional and department metrics, research, and findings; able to create projections based on multiple data and disparate data sources; tracks institutional performance against a wide range of internal, regional, and national benchmarks; leads college-wide accreditation initiatives and actions; assists with institutional and program accreditation processes and reporting; collaborates on accreditation report writing efforts; communicates to the college awareness of institutional accreditation standards and practices; responsible for state and federal reporting; monitors and maintains current institutional compliance with state and federal regulatory guidelines; works collaboratively to provide guidance, expertise, and leadership in assessment and continuous improvement initiatives; develops, maintains, and utilizes appropriate information systems and records necessary to document and communicate assessment processes; acts as the College liaison for national, regional, and state organizations; convenes the Assessment Council; coordinates and conducts assessment workshops; oversees College surveys to ensure valid instrument construction and administration; manages the college survey calendar to ensure maximum response rate; develops and maintains balanced budgets for the IRP office; keeps abreast of national, state, and local accreditation, assessment, institutional research, and related educational issues; supervises staff, assigns work and work schedules and has final authority on approval/disapproval of leave; conducts performance evaluation of staff; Other related duties as assigned.

 
Entry Salary: $105,668.10/annual

 

Standard Work Week: 35 hours
