This position will aid and support the Academic Success Office of Information Technology (IT). Responsibilities include working on various IT related projects as delegated by supervisor and supporting the IT team as needed.  The ideal candidate must have strong organizational skills, be able to work independently, and be proficient in the use of technology.   This position will provide occasional support with all administrative tasks which may include document handling, event and meeting support, customer service via phone, email and in person as needed.

JOB DUTIES

  • Involvement with various IT projects as directed by supervisor
  • Training and testing specified software directed by supervisor
  • Regular meetings with supervisor to communicate levels of understanding of respective software and projects
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed which include:
    1. document handling
    2. event and meeting support
    3. customer service via phone, email and in person
    4. assisting with scheduling appointments in Outlook
    5. data entry

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional and positive attitude
  • Familiarity with computers and Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft 365
  • Familiarity with Project Management and SharePoint Apps is a plus
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong initiative
  • Dependable, punctual, and responsible
  • Customer service skills that demonstrates diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Ability and willingness to take direction and accept constructive criticism and/or feedback
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Ability to collaborate 
  • Ability to work remotely or in a fast-paced office environment

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have completed FAFSA on file
  • Must be enrolled in a minimum six (6) credit hours
  • Must NOT have yet obtained 1st Bachelor's Degree
  • Must be seeking an eligible program of study
