Class Description
The purpose of this class is to provide high-quality, ongoing professional learning for the CCBC organization. This position directs the activities of the Center for Professional and Organizational Learning and oversees college-wide professional development efforts in teaching and learning.
Compensation within the above posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field. Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale.
Minimum Requirements
Masters degree in education, higher education leadership, psychology or a related field required. A minimum of six (6)years of experience in higher education in a faculty role, with three (3) years professional learning/faculty development required. Of the six years of experience, three of those years must include supervision of other faculty/staff. Demonstrated understanding of experience with evidence-based practices in post-secondary education that promote student success and equity. Experience overseeing and/or managing diverse projects, such as the design and implementation of professional development activities that support student success.
