Basic Function
Minimum Qualifications
• A Masters degree from an accredited college or university and two years of increasingly responsible experience in program and/or grant management.
• Ability to relate well with peers, co-workers and nontraditional students, to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, to adapt to varied situations, to plan and organize work, and to function independently, and knowledge of student services programs.
• Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.

Foreign Degrees
Any degree from a country other than the United States, including Canada and Great Britain, must be evaluated by an Evaluation Service prior to the closing date. Certification must be attached with copies of transcripts.

• Ability to effectively collaborate with high school administrators, teachers, students, and parents, as well as community college faculty and staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate outreach, recruitment, and partnership development.
Working Conditions
District office environment and domestic travel may be required. Work under steady pressure with frequent interruptions and a high degree of public contact by phone or in person.
Special Requirements
- Ability to work in a standard office environment including ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, crouch, stoop, squat, twist, and lift 20 lbs.; ability to travel to different sites and locations.
