Location: History and Political Studies 
Hours: Full-Time/Salary
To Begin: July 1, 2025

Job Description: The History and Political Studies Department is recruiting candidates who have a specialty in American History and Politics. An ability to teach in the areas of U.S. politics and international relations is preferred, and demonstrated competency in more general U.S. domestic history is necessary.

Applicants should demonstrate facility in the classroom, provide evidence of scholarly activity pertinent to history or politics, and have a strong interest in mentoring undergraduates and contributing to a robust interdisciplinary liberal arts program.

Special Requirements: The successful candidate will be a Seventh-day Adventist dedicated to integrating
faith with teaching, service and scholarship.

Qualifications: Ph.D. in History, Political Science, or American Studies, preferred. ABD considered.
