The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Digital Marketing and Brand Standards, reporting to the Corporate Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer, is a strategic leader responsible for advancing Scripps Health's digital presence. This role focuses on cultivating patient relationships, enhancing patient engagement, and driving sustainable growth through innovative digital marketing strategies.
* Key Responsibilities
* Digital Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy across all digital platforms, including websites, social media, email marketing, and digital advertising.
* Patient Loyalty and Retention: Lead initiatives to enhance patient loyalty and retention, fostering long-term relationships through targeted programs and engagement strategies.
* Brand Reputation Management: Oversee brand reputation across all digital channels, ensuring a consistent and positive online presence.
* Data Analysis and Campaign Optimization: Utilize patient data and campaign analytics to identify trends, assess performance, and refine marketing approaches for optimal results.
* Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with IT, clinical services, and other departments to deliver a cohesive, patient-centric digital experience.
* Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of digital marketing professionals, setting clear goals and cultivating a culture of innovation and excellence.
* Digital Trends and Tools: Stay at the forefront of digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices to maintain a leading-edge approach within healthcare marketing.
* Brand Consistency: Ensure alignment of messaging and brand standards across digital and traditional marketing channels in coordination with the broader marketing team.
* Budget Management: Oversee the digital marketing budget, allocating resources strategically to maximize impact and return on investment.
* Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Integration: Collaborate closely with the IT department to leverage the EMR system for enhanced patient communication and targeted marketing initiatives.
* Digital Product Management: Demonstrate expertise in web product management, web development, and digital strategy to drive patient engagement and enhance the online patient experience.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years in digital marketing, including at least 5 years in a leadership role, ideally within the healthcare sector.
Proven track record in designing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns and loyalty programs.
Deep knowledge of digital analytics, SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, and CRM systems.
Strong technical acumen, including understanding of API integrations and website development.
Exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on fostering a high-performing team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Health Care Administration or an MBA.
