Job Description:

SUNY Broome is seeking a part-time, Provisional, Office Manager for the Dean of Students Office. The Office Manager reports to the Associate Vice President of Student Development and Dean of Students (AVP/DOS). This appointment is Provisional, pending satisfactory completion of the Civil Service testing requirement. This position is represented by the ESPA bargaining unit.

The Office Manager provides support for all administrative tasks, including budget, strategic planning, office management, telecommunications, and marketing and scheduling.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


Requirements:

A.  Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor's Degree and one (1) year of experience in an office management or senior level clerical position; OR

B.  Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with an Associate's Degree and three (3) years' experience in office management or senior level clerical position; OR

C.  Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma and five (5) years of experience in an office management or senior level clerical position; OR

D.  Any equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of A.; B; and C above.


Additional Information:

The hourly rate for this position is $24.84.

This position is in-person, four (4) to five (5) days per week, for a total of 22.5 hours per week.

Offers of employment will be conditional based upon the results of a satisfactory, required pre-employment Standard Background Check.
