Working under the guidance of the Assistant Director, CDL Training, Instructional Specialist II or Senior Instructor, independently provide instruction in entry-level or career improvements topics. 

High school diploma/GED required; Associates degree preferred. Three years experience driving vehicles requiring a CDL-A license, a current, valid Maryland Commercial Drivers License - Class A (CDL-A), with Air Brake certification, plus X (Hazmat/Tanker), and T (Doubles/Triples) endorsements, are required; S (School Bus), P (Passenger), or All endorsements are preferred. Must be able to pass a USDOT Physical examination as required to maintain a valid Commercial Drivers License. Knowledge of and experience with CDL industry driver logbook software preferred.

Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field.  Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale.
