Job Summary

The Detroit Community-Academic Urban Research Center (Detroit URC) is seeking a part-time (50%) administrative assistant senior to provide a high-level of administrative support to further the work of the Center as well as its community-based participatory research (CBPR) projects. The Detroit URC is a collaboration of representatives from multiple Detroit organizations and academic researchers from the University of Michigan who work together to foster health equity in the city of Detroit. The Detroit URC Board, composed of representatives of each of the partner organizations, oversees all aspects of the Center in accordance with a set of CBPR principles adopted by the Detroit URC Board.

This one-year term-limited position can be renewed and may be increased in percent effort pending additional funding.

Work Locations

The administrative position is based at the University of Michigan School of Public Health, Department of Health Behavior & Health Equity in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Modes of Work

Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.

This is a one year term limited appointment with renewal dependent on funding each year.
