Adjunct Professor of Spanish

Patrick Henry College, a Christian liberal arts institution in Purcellville, VA., is recruiting an adjunct professor to teach beginning and intermediate Spanish (I and III fall semester, II and IV spring semester). This position begins Fall 2022.

Qualifications: M.A. or Ph.D. in Spanish. Significant teaching experience preferred; candidates should be committed to excellence in language instruction. Candidates must work well in an academically rigorous environment with highly motivated students. Candidates should have a strong commitment to teaching undergraduates in a classical liberal arts institution.

Interested candidates should submit a cover letter together with curriculum vitae, a list of three references (one pastoral), and a personal statement of faith including an explanation of how you integrate faith and teaching in your classroom. Also include teaching evaluations or evidence of successful teaching if available.
