POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

Butler County Community College (BC3) is currently accepting applications for the position of Admissions Recruiter. This is a full-time position that will begin immediately. Hours vary based on need. Evenings required and Saturdays as needed.


Reporting to the Director of Admissions, and working closely with the Assistant Director of Admissions, the Admissions Recruiter position will focus on attracting a diverse population of traditional aged, vocational/technical, and returning adult students to BC3. In addition, they will assist with recruiting efforts at BC3 regional locations, meet with prospective students, and their families, and coordinate/participate in various recruitment, yield, and enrollment activities both on and off-campus. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution required. Preference given for degrees in business, communications, education, health care, public health, or related field. Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in business, student affairs, higher education administration, or related field preferred. One year of experience in the areas of college admissions, student affairs, enrollment management, marketing, or public relations preferred. Prior experience in a community college environment preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license.

BC3 is nestled in the rolling hills of Western Pennsylvania and only 45 minutes from the cultural life of Pittsburgh. BC3 has 55 career and transfer programs. The College is going “all in” for its Shaffer School of Nursing and Allied Health. This includes the construction of a state-of-the-art Victor K. Phillips Nursing and Allied Health Building, program expansion, and the development of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Program. Private and public support has made this possible. BC3 offers unique programs such as Measurement Science/Metrology, Massage Therapy, Robotics, Electronics, Nanofabrication Technology, and Park and Recreation Management. BC3 offers over 100 courses in online and distance education. In addition to degree programs, BC3 has a public safety training facility at its main campus that serves 15,000 students annually for business training, industrial safety training, and public safety –fire, EMS, Hazmat, and police training.
