Summary:
Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKCTC) has anticipated openings for adjunct faculty. These are temporary, part-time positions used to fill classroom vacancies as needed: days, evenings, weekends, and/or online.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline. Experience using Blackboard (or a similar learning management system as a delivery method for classes) is recommended.
Long Description:
Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College (SKCTC) is a five-campus institution located along the Cumberland Valley of Southeastern Kentucky. SKCTC is one of 16 institutions in the Kentucky Community & Technical College System (KCTCS) and awards certificates, diplomas, and associates degrees in the liberal arts and technical education. SKCTC offers daytime, evening and weekend classes at five convenient campus locations. Opened in 1960 and accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), our goal is to prepare students for successful transfer to Kentucky four-year colleges or for immediate entrance into fulfilling careers.
