ACADEMIC ADVISOR

Full Time

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Under the direction of the VP of Student Services, position is responsible for the implementation of activities and services that support students through the stages of planning and decision-making regarding admission and academic success; provides advisement and awareness activities directly to students to assist them in determining academic direction and developing a plan for achieving their goals.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in counseling, student affairs, or related field preferred

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

Prior experience, preferably at a community college and fluency in Spanish is preferred

SALARY: Commensurate with experience
