General Statement of Duties:

Provide direct customer service and clerical support services (phone, electronic, in person, Virtual Office) for the Visions (TRIO Student Support Services) Program

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clerical support for the Student Support Services program performing duties that
  • include but are not limited to: answering phone calls; taking and relaying messages;
  • scheduling appointments;
  • Creating, handling and processing files;
  • Drafting basic correspondence using word processing software;
  • Filing, data entry on various software platforms;
  • Photocopying, faxing;
  • Initiating requisitions, work orders, purchase orders, travel
  • forms, etc;
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent;
  • Experience in an office environment;
  • Strong Customer Service Skills;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

 

REQUIRED SKILLS,ABILITIES AND APTITUDES

  • Knowledge of clerical office practices and equipment;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred;
  • Ability to maintain confidential records;
  • Ability to work in high traffic offices and under stressful conditions;

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate's degree
