The EOF Program Assistant provides overall administrative and office support for the EOF Program.

Examples of Duties

 

  • Provides overall administrative and office support for the EOF Program 
  • Provides data entry management for EOF applications and documentation collection of all EOF student types: new, current, transfer, and returning students 
  • Utilizes college data management systems to maintain program data and student files 
  • Prepares requisitions, purchase orders, and other general finance-related documentation 
  • Responsible for the general EOF email account responding promptly and accurately to any inquiries 
  • Assists the EOF Director with state reporting including, but not limited to the budgets, and annual report 
  • Assists in program social media content management 
  • Assists with maintaining the EOF webpage and ensures EOF documentation around campus is up to date and accurate 
  • Assists the EOF staff with various recruitment activities, recruitment data management, planning and arrangement of EOF program activities, events, professional development, and conferences 
  • Establishes all virtual workshops, advertises EOF and CSS events to students, and creates promotional flyers and content 
  • Provides prospective EOF students and families with information pertaining to the EOF program including but not limited to the EOF application, eligibility requirements, information on required documentation for admission, and the mission and intent of the EOF program 
  • Assists with processing financial aid appeals, academic appeals, and mid-term progress reports 
  • Assists in the selection and training of work study students 
  • Performs related duties as assigned

 

Typical Qualifications

Education: 

  • Associates degree 


Experience:

  • Two years of professional office experience (experience in higher education preferred) 
  • Experience working with virtual meetings and social media platforms (i.e. Zoom, Google Meets, Facebook, Instagram). 


Competencies and Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, forward-thinking, detail-oriented, excellent problem-solving skills, and is able to effectively work in a team and student-centered environment. 
  • Strong computer skills to include Google Workspace and Microsoft Office products 
  • Demonstrated evidence of sensitivity in working with underserved and diverse student population 
  • Knowledge of Ellucians Colleague management information system a plus

 

Supplemental Information

This is a grant-funded position scheduled to expire on or before June 30, 2024


Terms of Employment:

  • This position may require flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends and duties.
