Family Health Centers of San Diego is looking to hire an Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support for our CFO from leading projects to supervising staff.

Job Roles

  • Acts as a liaison with other departments and internal and external customers (including patients, vendors, auditors and inspectors) on behalf of Executive. Handles confidential information and answers complex, department specific questions when necessary.
  • Ensures applicable regulatory and department standards are adhered to on an on-going basis (The Joint Commission, OSHA, etc.).
  • Generates and proofreads correspondences and graphs.
  • Leads, educates, coaches and mentors others on LEAN continuous process improvement philosophy, tools and application to accomplish organizational goals.
  • Manages file management database, schedules meetings and sends correspondences.
  • Oversees all aspects of projects ranging from planning, to analysis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Processes donations, sends acknowledgment letter and creates financial reports.
  • Recruits, trains, develop, engage and retain an accountable workforce.
  • Researches, analyzes, creates and presents reports.

Requirements:

  • Ability and means to travel as needed in a timely manner within San Diego County.
  • At least 3 years progressively responsible administrative support experience required, preferably in the medical/health-related field.
  • Bachelors Degree required in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or related field required.
  • Valid CA Drivers License and no more than 2pts. Must have reliable transportation and auto insurance.
  • Legal and healthcare experience a plus (paralegal, CNA, medical billing etc.)
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work well in both a team-based environment and independently.
  • Basic project management and implementation knowledge and skills
  • Knowledge of effective change management practices and principles.
  • Exceptional knowledge of business English, including proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem solving skills, attention to detail, time-management skills, and strong motivation to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
  • Exceptional skills in computer applications and software, including MS Office and Desktop publishing.

71,386.00 - 101,887.00

If you are hired at Family Health Centers of San Diego, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, jurisdictional requirements, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to these factors - we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
