Sauk Valley Community College, a comprehensive community college located in a picturesque rural setting invites applications from innovative individuals for adjunct faculty. There are many opportunities for instructors in different disciplines.

Located in rural northwestern Illinois, along the scenic Rock River, between the cities of Dixon and Sterling; the College is one hour from Rockford and the Quad Cities and two hours west of Chicago.

Responsibilities:
Teach Philosophy courses as needed
To be cognizant of the philosophy and objectives of the College and use them as guidelines in planning, structuring, and teaching courses.

Qualifications:
Masters degree in Philosophy or a relevant subject and 18 credit hours in discipline is required. Experience teaching in a community college environment is preferred.
